Trish is about to be a problem! This is her 3rd video shoot in the past 4-5 months. A very sneak peak look at the video shoot for her joint ‘Mannequin’. Remember her name!
For those that know nothing about soca music, it’s Carnival in Trinidad & Tobago! Friday Feb. 20th, 2009 was the International Soca Monarch Finals and Mrs. Fay-Ann Lyons-Alvarez was the Groovy, Power & Soca Monarch winner! Triple Threat! Crazy! Congrats! Hmmmmmmmnn… Maybe 4 with possible road march?!? We will just have to wait and see.
For those that don’t know I am a ball fan! Last night when I should have been asleep so I could get up for my radio show (Worldwide Wake Up Show on CIUT 89.5fm 5:30-8am), I was watching the Golden State/Lakers game! All I gotta say is watch the #1 play of the night. Lebron did some damage as well last night, but Kobe Bryant – DAAAAMNN!

Just finished working on my Valentines mixtape “Seduction Vol.2 [IPR Edition]” with Kid Kut. Will have the download link up shortly. Had to post this classic Tevin Campbell joint which is also featured on the new mixtape. Hold tight – will post soon… And I am sure ya’ll know what “IPR” means. That should say it all.
Diddy sure created a lot of noise with his statement “DJs Killed Hip Hop”. I have had discussions with promoters, music lovers & other DJs about this topic. One thing people fail to realize is that a DJ has to want to break records. A lot of DJs are just content playing there Top 40 hit list week after week and month after month. I agree that if a DJ is not breaking records, he is not doing his job. Especially if that DJ has a following and can create a hit by playing a joint nobody knows. Some people get into DJing for various reasons – whether it be the love of music, money, sex, or fame! From Kid Capri to DJ Drama, Starting From Scratch to Jazzy Jeff, or Clinton Sparks to yours truly… we all thrive off of new music. DJs not only have the power to break a hit, but also make the hits – the rest will follow! I am that DJ.
