I recently had an hour long convo with Kardinal Offishall on the topic of being diverse in music. A lot of artists like Kanye West, Busta Rhymes, Kid Cudi, Wale and of course Kardi understand that sometimes you have to do things a little different when putting out a single or remix. Kardi’s newest single, “Clear”, is an example of that. Hip hop has gone into the 120-128bpm (that’s beats per minute for all you non-DJs/producers, etc). Hip hop can now be heard being fused with the very club friendly electro & b’more (Baltimore) sounds. I have been a fan of both genres for quite sometime and I guarantee you that u will see more & more artists switching up there styles so that they too can have the club on smash! “Clear” was produced by Black Chiney’s own Supa Dups!
